A2B Internet expands its core network to Dataplace in Utrecht (Groenekan) and NLDC at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. A2B Internet is working hard to expand its network to national PoP locations.

With this logical extension of the network, all services in the field of connectivity and data center services are available for all current customers but also for any future customers. In addition to the standard Internet services, connections to Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute and Amazon Direct Cloud can also be provided.

Thanks to its redundant and completely private network, A2B Internet is able to access secure and flexible internal and external IT from and to the connected data centers. A2B Internet is internationally renowned for its involvement in the development of new RIPE policies and innovative anti-DDOS solutions such as Naughty Port™.

Erik Bais – Managing Director A2B Internet: “Because of the obvious growth of both data centers and the possibility to add something unique to the existing carrier portfolio, this is a desirable expansion for us. We strongly believe in these data centers and we think we can add something as a Dutch network provider for organizations that are looking for a technical partner with a lot of knowledge regarding internet, data centers and BGP connections.”

Dataplace

NLDC

NLDC has been in existence since the beginning of 2017 and is the largest Dutch co-location provider offering carrier and cloud-neutral services. It operates large data centers in the Amsterdam metropolitan area and in fast-growing cities in the region.

Special features: the 6 data centers are located in the surroundings of Amsterdam (Aalsmeer, Almere and Oude Meer) and regional important hotspots (Eindhoven, Groningen and Rotterdam).

Data forms the core of today’s business operations and is essential for success. Security, uptime and connectivity are fundamental to the health of every data and IT ecosystem. NLDC helps companies to flourish by ensuring that their IT infrastructure is reliable.

In addition to this, NLDC believes in sustainability. The six data centers are CO2-neutral and only use green energy generated by wind farms off the coast. The company participates in unique heat exchange projects in which the residual heat of data centers is used, for example, for heating a swimming pool, school and business premises in the vicinity of Amsterdam. In Eindhoven, the data center heats the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, which is even CO2-negative.

All datacenters of NLDC are TIER III with TIER IV additions. NLDC is the only datacenter in the Netherlands with a complete TIER IV data center, located in Eindhoven. The data center is built according to the cradle-to-cradle principle.
